I adopted Arlo 6 months ago through your rescue.  He had very big paws to fill as I had not long put my old best buddy Hudson to rest and he was an amazing friend. Arlo has turned out to be a wonderful loyal and entertaining new best friend.
Arlo has a gentle and friendly disposition and an enthusiasm for life which makes all who meet him smile. He has met sheep, cows, horses, chickens, pigs, cats, donkeys and a turtle along with numerous other dogs and people. He thinks everybody is just there to be his best friend and playmate. He loves to run and will play like an absolute maniac for hours each day. Usually with my donkey, which is hilarious to watch, otherwise a stick or a toy will do. If he is not going flat out he is usually tucked up inside with a cat especially my disabled one.
Arlo is not very brave, even though he is now 40kgs and looks like he should be brave. He finds many things scary especially traveling in the car but he is slowly getting better. He has a selection of jackets as he feels the cold terribly and goes to bed at night in his pyjamas under a blanket beside the heater. Despite this he seems to end up on the bed by the morning. Well actually at any chance he can, especially if the electric blanket is on!
I would like to thank you all for your hard work in rescuing all the dogs you have re homed. Special thanks for saving Arlo and his family which has then given me the opportunity to adopt him. He is a truly delightful soul and I am very lucky to have him in my life.
Thank you.
