Monty arrived in our lives early July. We had kept an eye out for a dog for some time and when Monty’s face appeared on DRD website we felt this could be the one. Poor chap had been through a rough time-not only had he spent 7 days in the pound without anyone collecting him, he also suffered from parvo when he was rescued. He was lucky to survive! With some amazing TLC from his foster home he was well on the way to recovery. Our first meeting wasn’t love at first sight on Monty’s part as he greeted us with a good bark and was very unsure of us. By the end he was happy for us to take him to the car and off we went to his new life! Monty has been a fantastic addition to the family. He has his quirks and as his confidence has grown he has certainly shown signs of a more mischievous Monty. He is a happy wee soul who loves his walks, balls, sticks, treats, training time and of course his people! He has endless energy and can just keep on going. He has also adjusted well to the newest arrival to the family, our wee baby. He is an amazing dog and we feel very lucky to have him. Thank you DRD for your fantastic work!!!
