Introducing Ardie!

Ardie is a happy, independent pup who loves exploring the world around him! At just over a year old, he’s a Collie/Huntaway mix who enjoys sniffing out new scents and discovering the world at his own pace.

🐶 Dog-Friendly: Ardie loves the company of other dogs! If you have a dog at home, he will happily become their playmate and companion. He’s social, friendly, and enjoys engaging with other pups, making him a great addition to a multi-dog home.

⚽ Ball Enthusiast: Ardie’s ball drive is amazing! Whether it’s to engage with you or as a training tool, he’s all about playing fetch and having fun. If you’re looking for a dog who loves playtime, Ardie is your guy!

🚗 Calm & Chill in the Car: Despite his energetic nature, Ardie is surprisingly calm and quiet in the car, making trips enjoyable for everyone!

🐶 Needs Engagement: While Ardie has some great qualities, he’s looking for a foster or owner who can invest some time in building a bond with him. He’s an independent dude who requires patience and consistency to help him form a strong connection. Dog Rescue Dunedin is able to assist with training and settling into the home environment.

🧱 Fencing: Ardie requires good fencing as he has previously decided to take himself on a walk.

🦮 Not a Working Dog: We would prefer Ardie to have a non-working environment. He’d much rather hang out with his people!

😻 No Fluffy Friends: Ardie gets along well with other canine companions, but unfortunately, he does not get along with cats or small fluffy friends.
