My name is Red and I am on the lookout for my retirement home.
I am 12 years old and the vet thinks I may be a labrador/mastiff X. I am a bigger dog and weigh 33 kg.
I have had an adventurous life – if only I could talk !!
Now I am ready to settle down and retire.
My main hobbies are eating and sleeping . 😴 🥘
As I am an oldie I do have some arthritis in my front legs which I am on Carprieve for. I also require a small amount of dental work which Dog Rescue Dunedin will provide. Other than that I am fit as a fiddle for my age.
Exercise wise I am happy to go for short gentle walks or a sniffari around the park. I also love car rides and travelling in the car. I walk very well on my lead with no pulling.

I absolutely love people and most every person loves me. I am a hit wherever I go.
I also get on really well with other dogs and am currently fostered with one. I think I would prefer to live with a doggy friend in my permanent home but I’m flexible about that.
